As our Digital Marketing Specialist, your job will be to identify the needs, grow reach and build consistent engagement across our brands nationally. You’re a tech-savvy individual who possesses the capability to create and manage our online campaigns from end-to-end, they are yours to own.

Your tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Creating and implementing integrated tactical digital marketing plans aligned with Accordant’s strategic direction and our marketing goals, using all the necessary tools
  • Developing strategic content marketing plans for each of our businesses, remaining current across our audiences’ interests and needs
  • Evaluating and driving the effectiveness of our websites
  • Measuring performance and reporting on the impact of our campaigns and channels, both in-house and through our agency partners
  • Growing reach and building consistent engagement through our social media platforms to deliver on both short-terms and long-term goals

Reporting to our Group Marketing Manager, and part of a team of six, we are confident that this is not your average marketing role. The marketing team takes a collaborative approach to their work; while each person has clear responsibilities the team works together to solve challenges and share ideas. We are not afraid to take risks when we need too, we know that great innovation often comes from having the courage to try something new. We have the infrastructure of a large business, but we can be just as nimble as the boutiques. We know how to have a laugh, but we also know when we need to put our head down and deliver – the marketing team connects regularly with people from each of our businesses, providing highly-valued support and innovation. The Accordant business is special – and we want to tell that story.

How would we sum up all this up?

  • You will have approximately 3 years’ experience in digital marketing and content development
  • You will talk confidently about your experience developing and executing strategic plans and tactical activity across social media, SEM, Google Analytics, campaign performance measurement, marketing automation and email marketing
  • You will be a genuine person, with excellent communication, looking to work alongside like-minded people – the marketing team is excited about welcoming its newest addition
  • You will live and breathe content and have experience writing short and long form copy to suit an array of customers
  • Your ideas will be welcomed, especially in putting together unique ways to source talent
  • You will have a practical understanding of relevant legislation including the Privacy Act 2020 and the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007
