Service Desk Analyst
About the Role
We are currently seeking a Service Desk Analyst to join our small IT team. Our IT team provides helpdesk support, systems improvement and data insights to enable our national teams to work at pace. We are at the tail end of major transformation but there is much more scope to maximise our new tech stack. Our culture of continuous improvement will keep you challenged. Join us on the ongoing journey to provide our internal users with efficient support, industry leading tools and smarter integration.
Day to day you will assist our internal staff across their IT needs which could include ordering and setting up new computers and phones, creating and updating user accounts, updating websites and intranets, configuring and customising our apps and much more! You will partner with our external vendors and ensure all our applications and IT services are running as they should be. We are an innovative bunch so expect to be upskilled across our systems with scripts and automation of tasks.
This is a permanent role based in the Auckland CBD and close to all major transport routes.
About You
You’ll be a recent IT graduate with a passion for technology and computers or have some service or help desk experience. We are looking for someone who:
- Is a natural problem solver who follows a logical process, and looks at the big picture, while paying attention to the detail
- Will be a positive addition and who is solutions focused. No challenge is too big or small!
- Will contribute to the team and care about the quality of the service they provide.
- Will follow through to ensure our staff are happy with the outcome and receive timely care
- Is curious to understand process and workflows, has a passion for continuous improvement and are eager to learn and master new systems and applications
