Internal Recruitment Partner
Sometimes writing a really, really great job ad can be hard (undoubtedly you will know this), but not this time… because we have got loads to tell you about this outstanding new role.
In a nutshell, you will take the lead in developing, building and driving our internal talent strategy, right across the Accordant Group. You will focus on helping our businesses hire top talent in a timely, efficient and proactive way, while championing diversity and inclusive hiring practices.

Why have we created this role?
We are incredibly excited about what is on the go right now for Accordant, and what is on our horizon too. After successfully re-naming and re-branding in late 2020 (we were previously AWF Madison Group) we are eager to continue the great work we do across all of our Group’s businesses – which include AWF, Madison Recruitment, Absolute IT and JacksonStone & Partners. Our people are very much at the heart of our strategy, and this means we are going need more talented people across Accordant’s businesses. The neat part is that this role will help shape our internal recruitment strategy by working alongside our businesses to determine how we can attract the best talent.
How do we like to work?
Reporting to our experienced Group Client Solutions Partner we are confident that this is not your average internal role. We are not afraid to take risks when we need too, we know that great innovation often comes from having the courage to try something new, and we are comfortable changing tack if we need too. We have the infrastructure of a large business, but we can be just as nimble as the boutiques. The Accordant business is special – and we want to tell that story. We know how to have a laugh, but we also know when we need to put our head down and deliver – we want someone who genuinely gets a thrill over finding the perfect person, and someone who is consistently up for the challenge.
Who will you be working with?
You will work with our GM – Workforce and our in-house marketing team to showcase our EVP and build our employer brand. We are not looking for someone who simply wants to tick boxes – we want an innovative thinker who is well connected to our business. We want a storyteller and a collaborator – someone who can find what we are looking for and then bring them into our world.
What is at the heart of this role?
While bringing in great talent is important – we want to grow our talent too. You will always be thinking ahead and be comfortable backing yourself to drive change rather than sticking to the status quo, simply because ‘that’s the way it’s always been done’. We have some great ideas around sourcing talent – but we want you to come armed with your ideas too. You will be able to do some of the small stuff (even though its small – it still matters), and we need to know you are comfortable managing more complex work too.

We will provide you with the tools you need – and we will need you to use these to their maximum capacity. These tools will help you grow your existing strong networks even further. - Working with our Business leads to recruit talent across a range of role types, you will come up with relevant sourcing strategies and then seeing them through
- You will own and manage the candidate journey, while delivering a first-rate recruitment process for any of our Accordant businesses
- Your ideas will be welcomed, especially in putting together unique ways to source talent
- You will work with our GM – Workforce and our marketing team to develop our EVP and grow our employer brand
- Designing a recruitment strategy that will diversify our workforce, which spans attracting top talent and seeking out those ‘diamonds in the rough’, will ensure your role is well-positioned to help our branches deliver successful recruitment solutions to their clients
- You will be comfortable and excited about representing Accordant at industry-related events
- Our internal programme to grow talent will benefit from your ideas and approach
